The Great Escape

Applications for our Manchester Great Escape in October are now open!

The Escape is an opportunity for men and women in their 20s, 30s and 40s to meet others their age affected by cancer, to explore issues which are important to them and – most importantly – to have fun.

Workshop topics include managing anxiety, fitness, fertility and working after cancer. It’s a packed agenda with plenty of down time built in so still you have time to chill out or explore Bournemouth. The Escape takes place over three and a half days in Bournemouth and is offered free-of-charge to participants (though we do ask that you try to raise some sponsorship money). All meals and accommodation are provided.

What our Escapees say:
  • “What a fantastic weekend with an amazing bunch of people! I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders! I've never felt so at ease before in a room full of strangers!”
  • “The workshops reassured me that everything I’ve felt is normal, while offering good, practical advice on things like work and relationships”
  • “Wow, what can I say? It's been a fantastic, inspiring and challenging weekend. It's been a pleasure to spend it with such a wonderful group of people.”
